I've been married for 25+ years to my wife Sue. Our two children are grown up now, both doing well with their lives which makes me really happy. My family are my 'Why'.

I've volunteered for many years as an American football coach. I've always strived to build transformational relationships with those players, and the families of those players if they were youngsters. For me, it is always about helping individuals develop long term resilience, focus, leadership, courage, and positivity. The skills and techniques are easier to teach to players who show those qualities, and from there the wins often take care of themselves.

I bring the same beliefs into my business. I try to have transformational relationships with clients rather than just transactional ones. There is always an element of 'You give me x amount of money and I will give you y number of words' but I place more value in building a longer term connection built on trust and aimed at building something bigger.

The last couple of years have seen me have to start fighting an unwanted war with a form of blood and bone cancer - hence me recently adopting my nom de guerre. I'm focused on controlling its effects, I'm currently healthy, and it's given me a real drive to live well and be a good human being.
